On Monday 16 May, the People Matter Operational Leadership Programme (PMOLP) started in the Netherlands. With representatives from all Dutch Vion locations, we started with a mixed group of production managers.

During the first workshop, the group learned more about the Vion Way of Working and how to incorporate the core values Sharp, Connected and Brave in the workplace. Cultural diversity was also discussed. We work with many different nationalities at our production locations, making knowledge of different cultures extremely important so that you, as a manager, know how best to manage and supervise foreign colleagues.

From 13 June onwards, two more mixed groups of department managers will start the programme. In addition to providing new material on culture and leadership, this will also encourage collaboration and the exchange of experiences between the various Dutch locations and Business Units. After all, we are One Vion!

From 5 September, we will also start up several groups with foremen. They will follow the same programme as the production and department managers.

In Germany, we are making great progress with the selection of participants and planning. We will soon start with the first groups of operational leaders here as well.
