SALOMON results at Internorga trade fair

After three years of absence, Internorga trade fair once again took place in May. The fair attracted 50% fewer visitors than in 2019. Nevertheless, the SALOMON booth was very well attended and 1,200 leads were generated (75% of the 2019 number).

Fewer 'low-profile' gastronomy visitors meant that we collected fewer leads in total, but probably same amount of high-profile leads. All leads have been imported into the CRM system and the follow-up communication and materials were sent out one week after the fair.

The fair also had a very good impact on team spirit and self confidence. SALOMON was able to strengthen its position in vegan products and some pull effects have already been registered on the wholesale side. This is because some customers have already seen and tested the products at the Internorga and have contacted their wholesalers to enquire about purchasing them.

FVZ results at Internorga

For the second time, FVZ participated at the Internorga. It was the first appearance with the 'refreshed brand' and feedback from the market was positive. The organic and plant-based meat products exhibited attracted people's interest.

Follow up communication, including samples, was sent to the 100 leads collected. Several offers for organic products are already in progress. Just as with SALOMON, the quality level of visitors was high: 7 out of the big 10 contract caterers visited the booth. Furthermore, new contacts from retail gastronomy (Globus, Edeka, Porta) were made. So, a new small sales & marketing team did a great job drumming up business for the brand!
