When we recently told you about the marketing programme for rosé veal which began in Germany in late 2021, we were a little too optimistic in announcing a Bavarian counterpart to Hilden. As it stands, we have already slaughtered rosé calves in Crailsheim, and at the Buchloe site we are still looking for suppliers. It's safe to say that the programme is advancing exceptionally well and has a lot of potential. This means that rosè calves can be slaughtered at various Vion sites and be cut and marketed in Hilden. We are still looking for more farmers for this and hope to report on further expansion soon.
