Our social media guidelines

Nowadays, social media is everywhere. It may very well be that you are also active on social media in your personal life. When sharing online, either as part of your job or on your personal capacity, it is very important to realise it can affect the reputation of Vion as a company. 

To help you in making good choices on what you can share and what you might rather not share online, we have set up a set of guidelines. Whether you are active on a social network, blog or any other kind of online platform, please consider these guidelines.  

DO 
  Be Brave and Connect with others using your network  
•  Respect other’s opinions, values, other cultures and religions 
•  Be careful with sharing personal information online  
•  Respect everyone’s privacy (e.g. always ask people if you can post photos with them or contact details on social media) 
•  State that it is your opinion when commenting on our business or activities 
•  Be careful to discuss topics where emotions can run high 
•  Share company posts, news and events 
•  Be Sharp: Use common sense 
  

DON'T 

•  Engage with negative comments on our company or brands 
•  Share confidential information, e.g. about our business, numbers, products, services, suppliers or customers (also on photos) 
•  Share photos or videos showing our production process if those are not officially approved 
•  Get personal in discussions, swear or state controversial opinions 
•  Speak on behalf of Vion when you are not an official spokesperson for Vion or its brands
