In June 2021, Vion opened its first sales support office in Vietnam's metropolis and largest city Ho Chi Minh City. Under the leadership of Tuno Duong (Sales Manager Vietnam), the office focuses on Vietnamese national and regional wholesale, industry, retail and building up the customer base.

Binne Visser was a jury member at the FoodmanShip Awards on Tuesday 1 February, during the HAS Food Experience. Together with Broos Swinkels of Swinkels Family Brewers, he was responsible for the category Protein | sustainable alternative proteins. The eventual winner in this category was Nienke Faas. Vion is one of the main sponsors of the annual HAS event, which this year had the theme ‘On the road to 2030’.
